Lake George Recreation Area, 1.8.24

What a difference a week made in the landscape around here. The Lake Bonita walk on New Year’s Day was on a beautiful, calm day with some ice on the lake. There were gorgeous greens throughout the woods and lots of moss, fungi, and needle ice everywhere. Then ten inches of fresh snow fell and there was a wonderful winter wonderland to enjoy and photograph.
